The other day I had lunch with Rich Sexton, during that time rich had told me about a film he saw over the weekend and that it was made by Cory McAbee. Now, I know about Cory McAbee and have enjoyed his band The Billy Nayer Show and other films he has made over the years very much. So when Rich told me that Mr. McAbee was carrying the only print of his first feature length film from town to town, showing it and answering questions, I was more than a little intrigued. I looked on the website http://www.billynayer.com and found that the film would be playing that night in Santa Barbara, a mere 300 miles from where i stood. so i left work and began a journey to see a film. i brought my camera and took pictures from the window of my speeding van. they are here for your parusal.

the last few pictures are of Cory McAbee, the filmaker, musician, painter and rad guy and I. The film, I must say, is a rare and wonder-full treat. Its a cowboy musical. I'm no critic, but you MUST see this film!  hopefully it will be distributed far and wide and you will see it. as for me, I would've driven 600 miles to see it.
